2 Classic Editor By WordPress.org
Classic Editor is an official WordPress plugin that brings back the old editor and “Edit Post” screen. It’s useful if you prefer the classic editing style or use plugins that need it.
With Classic Editor:
- Admins can set the default editor for everyone.
- Users can choose their own editor if allowed.
- Each post opens in the editor last used for that post.
- It hides the new block editor by default.

3Advanced Editor Tools By Andrew Ozz
TinyMCE Advanced adds a “Classic Paragraph” block to the WordPress block editor. This lets you keep using the familiar TinyMCE editor while still accessing all the new features and blocks in Gutenberg. It’s a good option if you’re not ready to switch to the block editor fully or have plugins that need the classic editor.

4Classic Widgets By Tonya Mork
Classic Widgets is an official WordPress plugin that brings back the old widget settings screen. When activated with a classic (non-block) theme, it disables the new block-based widget editor. There are no extra settings—just turn the plugin on or off to use the classic widget screen
